I think he is great - had him out at the begining of this year to help me with my girly. Really nice guy who was patient and clear in what he was asking us to do. I have "Unlock your horses Talent in 20 mins a day" which is good. Not read any of his other books, but am just about to order his new one.

Books - great Guy rather hunky - but also a wonderful horseman:-) Happily married to Sam with 3 boys - DOH!

Think he's great. Recently met him at a demo and he's a lovely bloke with only the horses best interests at heart. Sam is lovely too.

Hmmm, I don't think he is an English Monty Roberts - other than that he works with troubled horses. He doesn't do join up - or at least wasn't the last time I saw him, reason being he said, that he wants to show people techniques they can use at home, and how many people have a round pen at home. I liked what I saw last time, came across as a nice guy, with a common sense approach.

He uses the best bits from everyone elses techniques, coupled with a good dose of common sense and horsemanship.

I have met him a couple of times through a mutual friend. He is a quiet caring man with a commonsense approach to horsemanship. He has recently branched out in to "doing backs".which I am not convinced about, but he is a lovely man and really cares about horses.

I have to say I know Sam & Max quite well & Max is definitely not an 'English version of Monty' & he doesn't advocate to be either. He is just a guy with a very practical approach to horses. His books are great especially his new one which also there is a DVD to go with it, which is very clear & easy to follow.
He is currently recovering from quite a nasty head injury & wont be out & about for at least 3 weeks poor chap

Seen him twice and really liked him. Gave simple solutions to everyday problems and was very entertaining as well.

Was looking forward to his demo at Myerscough as I haven't seen him before but will have to wait until March now. Hope he is feeling much better soon. I'm sure he will be worth the wait from all the good things people say about him.
