I'm with Gem, I don't have a spare grand in the bank but as mine are at home can easily house one and it will be staying - if something very unfortunate happened and I needed to rehome then I would turn to the people who are paying for/organising this rescue mission for help and guidance, I do think that we should only bring over those that we have homes for.

I would like to add that I would not necessarily sell, would be more than happy to loan. But as this is not planned - I will take it as it comes. If we get one

cesca see mods thread on belle - please dont comment about zoe on here its too important to get it removed! gem please don't tell me off - I was simply responding to the earlier references - tell them off, if you need to tell anyone off. I know nothing about any of it, which I think is clear from my post. I had seen the "belle" post, and had no idea what it was about. Sixfootblonde - how are you "raising awareness", by saving a French horse? That is exactly what you are NOT doing. Also, what will you do if your horse suddenly requires veterinary attention/expert intervention, which may require large sums of money? I don't mean to be personal, but I didn't buy a horse until I knew beyond doubt that whatever he needed...I mean, whatever....he would get it. The initial outlay to me, is not what a horse's real cost is.
