First we have to make a bond with our horse. Establish trust. Now we can enter the restrected area,the circle of protection. We have to respect them and learn frome them. We have to know them when they are free in herd,we have to know their nature of living. Forgive my bad English.

Have to say thou that I have had two geldings previously who would do absolutely anything for a butt scratch, I regulary stood in the firing line to oblige them. LOL Toons will just show me which bit he wants scratched, especially in summer. Means I suddenly have my nose burried in his tail when he wants his bum done. I'd do anything to see that upper lip extending with sheer pleasure tho.

Cant help but laugh though.
You know I really should have worn a hard hat, elbow pads, body protector, knee pads and steel toed boots for clipping my highlands belly incase she thought I was a fly or was spooked by a leaf or was chased by a lion that escaped from the zoo...
