is this actually confusing? I keep looking at business plans but cannot make head nor tail of them. Im not sure i can even make things work well as a business. I have had interest in livery even with lack of paddocks but i need to fix place up (obviously have zero cash for this) and i cant have more than 3 liveries really and the costs around here are lower than elsewhere for eg i cant charge lots of money for services. There is a school less than an hrs ride away and plenty of quiet hacking with access to beach and mountain. I still need to let some horses go though as i cannot afford to keep them currently so am madly trying to figure this out. Anyway excuse my mad ramblings but how do i work out if my ideas are worth bothering with? Obviously i would need insurance a contract budget for electricity and water (how the heck do i work that out as i dont have lights on hardly ever and water is on a meter but i collect rain water for outside plus there is a stream next to a paddock so i only have one large bucket tub of water really from tap. The pony club got high praise from the kids at work and i had been looking forwards to running it but obviously thats not happening now is it worth somehow figuring out my own pony club at home? There is space to run a few kids and ponies around but i no longer have a small pony that is useful for children (i had hoped Timmy could have been handy on this front but he never came round and wont ever). Sorry if thisd all seems ridiculous im not very good at putting things into sense. I cannot seem to find a job i can do most involve driving (which i dont) a lot of managerial stuff (haha) engineering and catalogue distribution things Avon is another. I have applied to a few even one babysitting but i dont have a check thingy DBS is it? so thats not likely. I am probaby going to get something that i hate and will send me down a miserable spiral of depression again which is a worry but i dont have any other options right now so if something comes up i have to take it. i am going to leave a message with previous employment to see if he has anything available but i would really just like to work for myself as it means dealing less with all the outside hassle in the main of it. Anyway easy business plans? What do i have to do? Is there any way of predicting if an idea will work or just fall flat on its face?

also have a look on Business Gateway website.. they have lots of useful info and free courses for people who are starting up business and who don't have a clue... (i did one of the their book keeping courses and still came out clueless lol.. my sister showed me her way, and it's so much easier)

Working for yourself doesn't do away with outside hassle if anything it can bring more. Tax returns NI Insurance Electricity Water Grazing/turnout Storage for the liveries These are just some of the things you'll need to think about before you even have anyone on site.
Will it be D.I.Y. or all in livery? Think realistically about how much it costs to keep a horse then try and find out what local liveries charge.

Already deal with the above i meant more the hassle of working in a bar again with drunk letches :/ . DIY is about £30 and Full £70 for very basic upto £170 for full with training. Some places have their own school some have more land or land in worse states of repair. Work has mud knee deep and barbwire fencing all in need of repair and they charge the first 2 prices
