So livery arrived today and was pleased even though some fencing needs repair and the mud. Horse settled straight in so hopefully things work out ok.

Thanks kafee always to close to falling down again but then again never so far too fall to be as bad as it could be i guess. The new livery turned up and we had a morning of laughter and nattering whilst the horses all settled to eating. I arrived on yard this morning to find my 3 snuggled right up to the new boys stable door. Had a bit of interest in the baby horse but nobody really serious except a lady in Sussex who has not seemed to bothered about what he is actually like. Another girl in Holywell has a sports horse and a welsh cob but i think she might want a freebee. Oddly the food my friend ordered has not arrived yet :/ bit worrying and odd. My lovely hay man delivered and has given me some grace on payment plus is lending his tractor to scrape the mud off yard . I am now debating about ringing my ex boss where i used to clean on a Saturday and see if anything available or carry on with pony club? It was cancelled this Saturday due to the rain :/ . I really wish i could do something here. The lady i got Baffle from runs her own and said i could come whenever i wished but she is very traditional (hence Baffle being the way he is) and i wouldnt be paid. :/ mmmm! Going to do my OH paperwork next week so atleast will keep busy. I am totally aching though my body feels worse than for a long time its like the last year has caught up and its gone fcuk you.

Hi troop, I know i'm new but whereabouts in Wales are you? I would love to come and help out with some horsey chores if you are anywhere close - I miss ponies so much just the chance to smell horsey again would be exciting! Let me know if you think it would help, even if it's just once in a blue moon when it all gets too much. Lucy x
Edit to say I have horsey references if you'd like them - I worked at an IH western yard for a while down south

Hi lucyawild im in the Bangor area near Aberdaron. Thank you for your offer. I tend to be too far from anyone . I got a message from yard this morning asking if i would be able to do two mornings a wee again :/ i love the job and two mornings is still two mornings. I have left message with previous boss to see if he has any work for me and the livery is paying me to muck out tomorrow so nice easy job for me. My back has been so sore and i thin since i stopped its gone into shoc mode. I have chilblains in my toes and have been getting awful headaches and nausea worse than usual. Going to start thinking about getting cash together to sort out my yard and get it spic and span.

Hi Troop - you're not kidding! 4.5 hours drive - I'll let you know if I'm ever coming up north to see friends as would be more than happy just to do the mucking out or something to give you a break. Sadly not a feasible regular thing though It sounds like you have some potentially very positive developments - I really hope it all works out for you! Lucy
