Come on Holly, let us know what you decide, why did they turn him back out once caught, surely a small paddock with a stable, he would have slowly started to trust some one. I really hope she goes to a home with someone off here.It would be lovely to follow his story. i just took a golden oldie on,. so no more room at the inn xx

FREE TO CATCHER!!!! FREE TO COLLECTOR!!! This chappie is FREE to whoever can bring at least half dozen helpers & what ever means necessary to catch him & round him up. He is a Cob X NF type. I am advertising him on behalf of a friend who has lost interest in him & does not want him as shes bought a new pony, she purchased him in the summer as shod & rideable but made the mistake of turning him out in the field, and since then cannot catch him!! I am pregnant hence do not want him in my field and need him out the way. Anyone who wishes to have a go at getting him must bring all their own equipment to try & get him including alot of helpers & a lassoo! And their own transport! She has tried most ways of catching him including acp's (which dont faze him) but havent had enough helpers to 'round him up' so i must stress that if you wish to have a go you must bring helpers, rope, infact absolutely anything you think you may need to catch him as he will run round the field. He has a passport and the 'lucky catchers' will have a signed receipt of sale from the current owner! **FREE TO CATCHER & COLLECTOR!!**
So he had been ridden, maybe at the sale, and surely at some point he has been broken and had shoes on!!

Doesnt look like there is anything wrong with his chest, not that I can see from the angle of the piccie. 80 quid for a horse whisperer then just put out in field again! If the head collar is digging in to his head then he will obviously be sore, so not surprised he is worried about being caught. I really cant believe some people. I personally think a vet with a dart gun would be your best bet if you want to catch him. By the sounds of it he has had a very traumatic time of it and is in pain, most probably with his shoes as well as his head collar.

holly why cant you take him, surely an IH tempory is better than another dealer taking him. wish I was sorted or would take him. someone with a box must be able to. Can they herd him into a stable to catch him?

I rung too. didnt get hold of the lady yet. Im pretty sure catching is only going to be the beginning of this saga! noone has seen this pony ridden from the sounds of it, so the poor little guy could have all sorts of issues.
Im pretty full here, so not going totake the little guy if one of you want to, Im not short of a wild 14h pony at the mo thats for sure!!! but can find room so if none of you lot take him and if I speak to the owner and it sounds like shes not got any nice homes interested, we could pop and get him. (see how I make it sound easy!!LOL!)
I have a fwe clinets in W sussex so if anyone else has him and needa a pair of hands Im over that way pretty often and happy to help. rosie

If he was over here, I'd have him, but can forsee problems with health, riding (500??), although we have the perfect facilities, stables,.small turnout area. etc. Sounds like he may be a little wild

I am trying to find out more and work out if I could have him, but am seriously considering it.
So I may be sending out and SOS and taking up all offers of help.
