So I'm going to be really, really brave and keep this up during the May Masterclasses for reviews from anyone that goes. What I think I've learned from your DG suggestions is:- 1. You'd like far more owner interaction 2. You'd like to see how to deal with ridden spookiness, not just the issue on the ground 3. You'd like things explained really step by step so you could do them at home 4. You'd like to see standing still to mount and any day to day problems that come up bucking, rearing, catching etc (of course this all depends on what horses are put forward for us to use) 5. You'd like more RA involvement 6. You'd like to be inspired and learn something new
OK so I'll make those my goals. First demo starts Friday night at Hoplands. Let us know how we're doing - then by Warwick we'll be perfect! ;D Kelly

Well if we're allowed to post feedback, perhaps Kelly should do the same. Let's find out who was the best and biggest (as in numbers, not weight) audience. I'll bet it will be Shuttleworth!!

How many tickets sold for Shuttleworth so far then Kelly? I've been sending out flyers all over the place!! It'd be interesting to know the numbers at the moment anyway.

93 to date which is our lowest of any. Warning! If we don't go higher than this we're going to have to cancel the Travelodge and stay with locals - and we're Horribly demanding.......... Ian and his insistence on Egyptian cotton sheets with 400 linen count, Rosie Jones must have her 24 hour chocolate service and then of course there's my peeled grapes........... ;D

Wow! Thats quite a big list Kelly, they're a demanding lot this DG bunch aren't they? Bagsy sleeping with Pie if it comes to it - Caesers stable is dirtier! See you all at the demos, cant wait Rosie x

I'm taking my friend to Shuttleworth for her birthday surprise (hope she doesn't read this!! ) and I'm looking forward to it immensely. It certainly makes a change from going to Old Warden to see the aeroplanes - that's hubby's passion and we seem to go every other week in the summer.

Bearing in mind the deluge of rain that we're gonna have over this bank hollie, how about a whole section on how to desensitise horsies to brollies... *grumbles*

I am going to be the first to say that tonight's demo at hoplands was stunning. Kelly is so generous with what she teaches and it was all explained piece by piece. Three lovely coloured horses including Pie, Caesar and the starting horse who was certainly not easy but just showed how well IH methods work. The loader, who I had a little play with, was great too.
Well done Kelly!!! and the team.
