Robbie (ID/TB) cost £1,000 as a weaned foal Zarello (Arab) now 22 cost 800 as an 11 year old Count Azlan, bred ourself has cost almost £2,000 so far in stud fees, vet care for mare, vaccinations, registration, vet fees after his accident.... and HE decided to be a boy (I wanted a girl) so buying ready made is definately a cheaper option!!!

Between $4,000 -$5,000 for the riding horses, the in-foal mare was $1000 (sold the foal for $750) and the stallion $2000, but as I saved $3000 in stud fees on the mares he covered last summer he has actually already paid for himself.

I paid for all but one of mine on terms so though they seem expensive, it didn't seem so at the time as payments were worked out over many months/years for some!! My beautiful Fangs. Paid £700 for him 5 yrs ago, as he was deemed difficult and dangerous! Not now lol, he's my star!! This is Saeed, cost me £580 as an unbroken 6yr old stallion. I sold him in July aged 11 to a lovely lady in the NF for endurance Saeed's son Danny. I paid £250 for him as a3yr old, sold him to a lovely older couple as a 6yr old. Petra, paid 1200 for her infoal as a 3yr old. She's on loan at the moment having another foal Her foal,l Frankie...free lol! She's with her mum in a new home. Nazika, I paid 3000 for her with a breeding...but never used the breeding! Tasey...the darker grey, I paid 1700 as a yearling...she's now infoal to the lovely Tobago ;D Coni, the lighter....1000 as a yearling, also now infoal. We saved Rashid from York sales, for 400 Best bargain we ever bought, he's done us proud! Holly was 2800 as a 2yr old Raffles, 4000 as a 2 rising 3yr old colt. He was the only horse I bought outright! I have "Pac Man" on loan, but hope to be able to buy him at the end as we adore him! He's a 3yr old colt. Alfie, 16.1hh WB gelding was 1100, but only due to needing 3 months rest for an injury before restarting work. Finally, my gorgeous Faberge I can't say ho0w much she was, but I'll be paying for her for 3yrs...and into 5 figures LOL oops!

Indi has to be one of the most handsome horses on the DG - and all for that huge sum of money too Jenna!
