Had a bit of an incident with him yesterday long story short - met lady leading her horse and having difficulty getting through a puddle, she was hitting it with her reins and shouting at it as it was barging/running over her and jumping puddle - it totally freaked Harry out; luckily I was leading him at the time. He ended up doing "passage", raising himself up about 3hh extra and snorting!!! I did deep breathing and "isn't it boring" body language and he finally calmed down. I think he was more frightened of the lady than the horse. I was leading him as he had "switched off" whilst I was riding so within a few seconds I had gone from a horse totally relaxed and not going forward so trying to get the energy up to respond to me to a horse that was totally freaked and me having to calm him down - no wonder the poor boy gets confused I've emailed Dido with what has been happening the last few weeks and she has come back saying "thats getting me thinking…….a lot of info to digest", so she's on the case ready for the 24th

Well, I'm not surprised he didn't like her shouting and so on, I wouldn't either! Sounds like Morgan with the cows. Good that you could calm him down. I managed to ride Morgan out today, he was pretty good, but I'm noticing more now that I really have to get his attention on me, or he's away with the fairies, doing his own thinking! I seem to really have to convince him that I know what's best, and then he seems to settle more and do as I ask. I think he'd improve more with a short daily session, but the weather doesn't play at this time of year, but, I'll keep going. Shall be interested to see what Dido comes up with.
