yes, it was nice that she did AND she mentioned it in the message she wrote in her new book for me so maybe I'm capable after all! Are you building a house then, all sounds very interesting!

Hi Sophie, no we're not building a house, but are having a major extension built on our property which wll pretty much double the size of it. It's all very exciting! OH is taking piccies most days, bearing in mind the builders have only been here for 2 weeks the difference is incredible. They started laying the first bricks yesterday.
Hi Helen, hope you and the neddies are well. Did you get a farrier sorted out in the end?
And Gina - if you're up and about a great big hello from the Warks and Northants DG'ers!!!

Sophie that would be great. You are welcome any time. We live about 7 or 8 miles from Rugby, not far at all.

sophie - take Sue Whitmore up on her offer - she isn't that far from you and is very nice - I've been to her yard.
You could do Flynn - but as he's out 24/7 we would have to find a stable for him to weave in - but if you want to ask questions feel free!

Thanks Louise, its a tricky one as not many people have weavers or maybe aren't admitting to it! I haven't seen Sue on here for awhile.. Funnily enough the horse that was sold sounds rather like Flynn, he only does it apparently when brought in over the winter months and its usually when feeding but he is moving to Scotland so not very near! Hope you are well

Hello! I've just moved to Coventry, so just North Warwickshire. Can anyone recommend my nearest RA now?

Hi Everyone,
Sorry to butt in to your Midlands group. I just wondered if you could help with any info about IH/NH things in the Nuneaton area? My 23 year old son Chris has just got his first job , as a newly qualified vet, with a big mixed practice in Nuneaton. Non of us know the area at all. The job is just what he wanted. A combination of equine/ large animals with some small animal work so that he can learn to do some surgery. He hasn`t ridden for a while ( pony retired and no money!) but would like to start again. So - some questions.....
Where is Sue Brown the RA based? Chris hasn`t done official IH courses but has spent some time with Debbie Reilly(Monty trained instructor) ) and Sarah Weston, as well as helping out with my Foresters and the foals when he is home.
Are there any IH / Classical Riding based riding schools where he could get back into riding ?
Is there anything else interesting around? What exactly happens at the BHS place at Stoneleigh?
Any useful info gratefully recieved. Thank you!
