Hi Gina, I'm sure you'll be fine. It must seem a bit daunting right now but I'm sure everything will be just fine. Lucyloo who posts on here sometimes bought her lovely little baby boy Ted to the Feel Demo at June's - and Ted was the grand old age (well actually grand young age) of 17 days old! And Lucy had a little sit on Flynn, Susan's lovely ID...
Last night's demo at Holdenby was the final one in a series that has run through this year. It was passage, piaffe and spanish walk. As ever it was beautiful to watch, very instructive and informative and there was also some time spent showing the movements from the ground, not just under saddle.
The end demonstration which Peter did with his beautiful dark horse was breathtaking. I felt quite teary at one point! But I am a bit daft like that when it comes to horses...!
Take care, hope everything is okay with you and bump.

Hi Guys, Gina, I thought I would post on here I had seen it the other day but didn't have time! Casper, I think we have spoken on here before?
Gina, you'll be fine - the first few months are the hardest just cos of the feeding and you get tired, I went back to work after 3 months when I began to go slightly mad! I work from home so that made it easier. Will post more later, my little one is about to throw his cereal on the floor......

Hi Guys
I'm still in a state of limbo waiting for baby to put in an appearance, and not feeling inclined to do much in the mean time. My due date is Tuesday, but I've been up at the hospital for extra monitoring every other day for weeks, and they keep say they're going to induce me, so at the moment my life revolves around the hospital and not much else. I just can't wait for the new chapter of my life to begin!
Do you know anything about the new riding club at Onley Polo Grounds? I'm thinking about checking out and seeing if they are interested in providing any IH friendly events. It only got started in Feb 07 and I think the facilities look good, and as they are quite new they may be open to suggestions.
Are you planning to go to any of the Monty demos? I'm probably going to the Hartpury college one, Monty started my Rose there a few years ago, and I think the date will be good for me. Perhaps we can meet up if you're going.

Hi Gina
Lovely to hear from you, and good luck with everything. Went to see Lucyloo and the absolutely gorgeous adorable Ted on Friday. Could have stayed for days, he is such a gorgeous little munchkin.
I don't know anything about Onley Polo Grounds Riding Club TBH. If you PM Sarah1 or put a thread up for her in General Horse Chat I am pretty sure that she used to work there, or may even still be there.
I'm not planning on going to any of the Monty Demo's although keep thinking about possibly the Addington one as not too far away in Buckingham.

Hi Casper
I hadn't really considered the Addington demo, but it's probably a similar distance for me, I'll see how I'm getting on the baby nearer the time but I might come to that one instead.
The baby is due tomorrow - but still no sign yet. The midwife tells me it's quite normal to go 2 weeks past the due date, but I think I'll go crazy with anticipation if that happens. I've been avoiding phoning any friends or family as they all think I'm ringing to let them know I'm labour. I just feel a bit bored and useless.
I think the ponies are bored too, they're following me round the field when I'm poo-picking, giving me pony kisses, and Doris thinks it's funny to knock the wheelbarrow over. I think they're ready to start doing some work again! I hope we don't get a wet winter.
Keep me posted about what your up to, as you always seem to be at demos or meeting up with people.

Hi Gina - and "Bump"! Haven't got any demos coming up now, but will let you know if and when there are some. I'm really lucky to have some great DG friends who I see quite often, plus do some reiki with their horses too which I really enjoy. Not been riding enough of late, don't think it is the nerves kicking back in, but need to get back on board soon to make sure!
We're completely upside down as got the builders coming in on Thursday and I think I have been quite preoccupied with that as well. We're going to look like a bomb has hit us for months I reckon!
Can't wait to hear how things go with you and the baby Gina, take care.

ginah - I was 2 weeks over with the first - it really is awful - you have my sympathies! The second was 10 days late - but we expected it so I spent my due date on the beach in Hastings!
casper - good louck with the building work!

Hi Casper, I'm here just been busy with work deadlines! Things o.k this end thanks, went to the Monty demo at Rodbaston and helped, it was fantastic and has got me all inspired again. I bought some lovely purple long lines but have yet to use them...typical, and have made it my aim to be on next year's Stage 2! Not sure what I'm letting myself in for, but am determined especially after Kelly asked me if I'd handed in my project and video's yet...uummmmmm not even done them yet so that was the kick up the arse I needed so to speak! Haven't heard from Gina so assuming she is producing a lovely bouncing baby.
How are things your end? x

Hi Sophie, really good thanks. Been really busy with the building work starting at home as well as everything else, but all good positive stuff if that makes sense!
Sounds like the Rodbaston Demo was great - and well done for having such positive goals. Glad that Kelly is giving you a helping "shove"!
Fingers crossed that all is well with Gina and the baby.
