I know that one of the transporters was doing a favour and charging £300 and no VAT.
Please bear in mind that the foal will be sent off for slaughter at 6 months old - horrific!

JL, that is absolutely horrific, especially the thought of her having to make that long journey in the transport lorry, heavily pregnant.

I think what we need to remember is that this mare will still be making a long journey but in awful conditions. if she comes back with us shes got a top knotch luxury service at her feet with a caring rescue place who will be doing the transporting for us. and no foreign slaughter at the end of her journey.

the urgent ones are classed as urgent as they go from the sheds/barn into the field. if its in the field they go on the next lorry, im not sure on what day lorry comes but if we sort these out today there safe for monday pick up (by the nice wagon not meat wagon)
