In my dim and distant past I used to work in scientific research.. or more specifically on the hormonal (endocrine) control of the reproductive system. One of our researchers who worked on the male reproductive system was called Anne Grocock, and her research assisstant was called Beth Crutch.

I love weird names; for example Yung Bum (a pupil at a school I taught at). I also knew a civil servant who pronounced his name (over the phone) Siddie - Buttome but it was spelt Sidebottom

My mum used to know an elderly lady called Ophelia Balls, and a Justin Case. A family friend knew a Louden Clere, i used to work for a company with a customer calle Mike Hunt!!
Cant think of any others at the moment but i am sure i will find some others. Carol - thats funny!!

Hee hee! OH works in direct marketing and periodically I scour the database for duff names. Most of the information is of clubbers, most of whom were psst when they ventured their details so, Ben Dover, his sisters Eileen and Nolene, Justin Case and Justin Credible, Jenny Taylor, Hugh Janus, Hugh Gardon, A.S. Hole, Richard Head, Wayne King, Huan Kin, Jo King, and King Dong are all regulars in the nightclubs. We've also sent mail (accidentally) to James Bond 007, HM the Queen, Tony Blair, George Bush and most of Manchester United. Not forgetting the entire cast of Star Wars. Actually after you've seen 84 Hugh Januses in one database it does actually stop being funny and you kind of wish people would think of something a bit different--but my 15 yo son (of course) still finds it funny, along with most of the male population of GB.......
