So excited!!! I've been to see a litter of English Springer Spaniel pups and I'll be bringing one home next Friday. ;D
The breeder's friend has first pick of the pups so I'm not sure which I'll be having but I have my eye on a little beauty called Dillon. He is absolutely adorable, full of character and loves his cuddles. He is liver and white and has the cutest little spots on his nose. They are all absolutely beautiful though.
Look out for pics on Friday!!

Breeder just called me to say that Dillon is definately mine as her friend chose one of the other pups! I'm bouncing off the walls with excitement at the moment and can't wait to bring him home.

Hi Louise, Property turned out not to bear any resemblance at all to the description. Never mind - just have to keep looking!

i have a 12 yr springer who still acts live a puppy, just pick up the lead and she`s tearing around like a looney.
They are the most delightful breed and are easy to train. My girl is great with my son and lets the rabbits climb all over her!!!!
Looking forward to seeing your pics of your puppy, by the way love looking at the pics posted.

Thanks for telling me about your springers. Its good to hear about your lovely experiences. I took a very long time researching breeds before deciding that a springer would be the best type of active family dog for us. We nearly went and looked at some Border collies but I know that they don't always get on with children so decided against it.

I grew up with springers, 4 of them, they were beauty's, apart from puppy chewing no problems at all, the springer i've got now was a bit of a reject, she's got droopy eyes and a overshot jaw but as soon as i saw her i had to have her as i was afraid she might not get picked by anyone else, the piccie below is Baringa our Dobe, Tigra our Staffi and Kalina the Springer

Have you looked into getting insurance for your puppy? I would strongley advise getting some, I`ve just paid out £1500 on my springer.

Gulp! I'll definately look into that Mand, thank you. Nickernow - I think its great that you took your lovely little reject. I always think that animals choose their owner and when they look at you with those big eyes you just can't go home without them! Well he's home! And he's absolutely gorgeous. He was a bit sad at first without his brothers and sister but he's settling in nicely. He loves his cuddles. So far he's done all his business outside bless him and he wolfed down his tea. I'm just waiting for the camera batteries to charge up and then I'll post some pics.
