Great choice of breed! My boy was the first puppy to come up and investigate, as I slid into their room through the window! (His breeders neighbours had phoned me, to let me know the alarm was going off, as I often had a key when I was looking after the animals. As I wasn't on animal sitting duty, I didn't have a key, but was able to slide through the window instead!) I had seen the puppies when they were a day old and I really liked Buster's markings, so it was funny that he was the first to investigate my dangling legs! At that point I didn't think there was any hope of my being allowed a dog of my own. However, several weeks later fate intervened! Buster had been chosen to go to Brixton prison as a sniffer dog (hence his name, I suppose!) but they then rang his breeder to ask if she would keep him for a few more months, which she didn't want to do, in the meantime, my mum and youngest brother had met the puppies and added their support to my cause! So after many years off hoping and wishing (and dragging a Fisher Price Snoopy dog-on-wheels around!) I finally had a dog of my own! He was well worth the wait! I hope your boy is as wonderful!
