By all means PM Sassy, good to keep in touch, but she comes to play with my horses most weekends, so I'll make sure she knows about it. I'll speak to the people at the pub then, looks like it's a go-er, looking forward to meeting you all. Bring anyone you know who is into horses in an intelligent way. I'll let you all know if that date isn't good for them, and we'll pick an alternative.

Fab piccies everybody, and midnight its not fair booh hoo, I want more than one horse cos mine's broken! Spirit is absolutely gorgeous.

WendyM, you may only be an honorary Salopian but you are welcome to join us oon Saturday - I do hope I'm not going to be on my own in the pub. Edgmond is not far from Staffs, depends on where in Staffs you are. What's wrong with your ned?

Everyone was invited - see my previous post. Have you all got frantically busy social lives then? Might be just me and my pint - it would seem no-one in this area is really interested, I've tried Steve Young clinics (not enough interest) and Annabelle Harling lessons (ditto) and now it seems no-one is really up for just a get together. Oh well, can't say I didn't try - I WILL be there, on my own if necessary, just in case anyone else can make it.

LOL Jill !!
I'm really busy with work & moving house for the next 3 weeks so March is probably a better month for a social !
If i don't end up going out on Saturday i'll pop to the Lamb to see if you're in.

I'm toying with the idea of having a BBQ at my place when the lighter evenings/better weather comes, so I'll post details. Only trouble is I know nothing about them, so I'll offer the venue if someone with do the BBQ, food/drink we can come up with collectively. So, it's a real pity if you can't come on Saturday, but all is not lost. Anyone else???

I love BBQs, count me in. I am sure we could all chip in for food and drink.
I have a gas BBQ so am a bit rusty on the coals but I am a good "helper"

Right, here we go for Saturday. I will be getting to the Lamb at around 7.30, and I will be wearing a navy sweatshirt, green and purple Regatta coat and either wearing or have parked on the table my (faded) blue leather stockmans hat. Any hay in my hair will be there by accident not design. I may be on my own or there may be another couple with me - whatever, I am really looking forward to putting personalities to the names on here and spending an evening talking horses. See you there. I'm about to copy this onto the General Horse Chat threads as well, so no excuses except poorly horse, earthquake or volcanic eruption!!!
