Hi Cathy! Spirit is now 16 months old. The photo was taken when he was 12 months old though. What horses have you got?

Hi Matt
I live in Shropshire, about 10 miles northwest of Shrewsbury. I have four Dales ponies, an Exmoor and a Morgan! When I figure out how to post pics I'll put some up.
Whereabouts are you, north or south Shrops? Spirit is lovely!

Hi Bayhorse! I'm near Telford. It's quite easy to post photos and I'll be looking forward to seeing them!

I have a 16hh 5yo TB mare! Haven't got any photos yet - keep meaning to take some but haven't got around to it! Spirit is lovely. What do you plan to do with him?

Not sure what to do with Spirit yet, I'd like to do hunter trials kind of thing, however, I can't ride yet - I was in the process of learning when I fell off a newly purchased 17.3hh Belgian Warmblood. It wasn't his fault but my own, unfortunately I broke my hip so I'm our of action for a while!! Spirit is coming on great though, and hopefully I'll be a good enough rider for when he's ready!!

I'm trying to sell the warmblood now. He is a fab horse really, ex-showjumper and dressage horse but now retired from all that and is just a hack because of some arthritis in his fetlock so was ideal for me as he is very laid back.
Spirit is so laid back too, nothing really scares him. He's been visited by Richard Maxwell (Max) earlier in the year to teach me basic groundwork with him and he was brilliant - Max even got out some tarpaulin for him to walk past and over - Spirit took it in his stride and even started to pick it up in his mouth and waving it around. Max laughed.
He's so good that I've been trying to put a bet on Spirit and I winning Horse of the Year sometime!!! ha ha.
