I have two reasonably young arthritis minis. Currently both on danolin as struggled through the snow and ice although splash is doing so well we are now weaning down to 1/10 twice a day (is it even worth it! Lol)
But I need a good joint supplement.. That doesn't cost the earth! I hate to say synequin has seem to have been helping there equine America Kentucky joint supplement wasn't.. Unfortantly.. I can't afford synequin! Lol I've email equine America to ask for the levels of the important ingredigents so I can compare..
But does anyone use anything, tried and tested to do really good.

If you speak to a vet they will usually tell you you are wasting your money on anything other than synequin or similar as most others do not provide the ingredients in a form that the horse can absorb.

I've seen good results with Premierflex HA and Premierflex Plus. Also supplementing with Linseed and turmeric will help.

Tried turmeric last winter didn't help much... i seem to be seeing a lot of things saying about HA.. is that the new thing to add to joint supplements now?? (i'm not even going to attempt to spell the proper name! lol)
My vets basically suggest anything with glucomine/chrondition and go for the highest level i can afford... :/

Hiya, I use feel good 30 joint and mobility. I'm quite pleased with the result. My old chap is very fussy with food and refuses to eat anything with a strong smell or flavour so can't use oil or herbs. He eats the feel good 30 without any problems.

Vet vits, you can only buy on-line, but I swear by them. I've got other people up the yard using them now and they swear by them.

Vetroflex has been really popular by Animalife, worth having a look at. I sell it for £88 instead of RRP £129.99. Sell loads of it. You can get info on the product at www.animalife.co.uk
