I received stick on here for saying I wanted to breed my forever horse. I have 5 horses, none of them are quite right for what I want to do, 3 are too small, one to big and one doesn't have the attitude. I am looking to sell 3 and loan 2. Is this awful? I will only do so to the perfect homes, I just want to buy/loan a horse with some experience eventing to help me out a bit and to buy a nice 3 year old to do myself next year. I feel awful as if I am swapping them in...what would you do?
Also have I worded these ok etc?

Beautiful full up 15.2 8 year old grey anglo-arab gelding for sale. Owned since a yearling he always catches people’s eyes when out as so stunning. Low mileage, has done rc and been placed dressage and sj. Has been xc once and was very good. This is a very sad sale as owned since a yearling, he is a real sweetheart to handle and loves cuddles, unfortunately I am wanting to event and in my heart of hearts know he is more of a dressage or allrounder type. Would be ideal for a lady rider wanting to do rc dressage and beyond as he has beautiful movement and great potential. Hacks out well in company, needs leg alone as very rare for him to go alone so just not used to it. He loads well, brilliant to catch etc, green with the clippers but only done for the first time this year. He is shod as without shoes he becomes very foot sore. He does suffer from mild sweetitch but this is controlled easily with the avon spray. He is my pride and joy and will only be sold to an absolute 5*home. £4750 ono including bridle and rugs. Saddle available by separate negotiation. Please no novices, time wasters or dealers as he will only go to the perfect person. May consider loan to right person.

17hh 6 year old bay mare. Very well bred with both parents having competed internationally and grade A and dad having competed upto elimentary dressage. This is a very sad sale as have owned since a 3 year old. But unfortunately I have had to realise that at 17hh she is just too big for me, it’s by no fault of her own. Very green, has been out once to an indoor dressage and was a star, the loveliest mare you will ever find. Has been hacked out by my dad, friends etc and is very chilled, she just needs a bigger stronger rider to realise her potential, could be a real star as huge scope and fantastic paces. Unfortunately she does crib bite/windsuck. Loads but better in lorry as a bit big for trailer, never been clipped or shod but fine to catch trim etc. A real genuine mare, I would just love to see her go on and do something. Done very little over the summer due to lack of saddle so sold basically from field just going on the odd hack when possible.
£4000 ono with bridle and outdoor rugs.
May consider part ownership for talented rider wanting serious horse without paying the serious price usually involved.
Dory
14hh black and white 5 year old Connemara x type mare, Dory is the sweetest pony you could find. Been ridden by everyone, children, a disabled teenage rider, I would even put my grandma on her. I bought her as I felt sorry for her but have decided I need to cut down to focus on eventing. She is a fab pony who is best suited to a family home to pop a small clear round course, rc dressage and showing. Hacks out alone and in company and shows maturity beyond her years. A very sad sale but she has a job to do for someone, she has a lot of love to give.
£1900 ono with rugs.
Two 14.2 ponies for loan, preferably to stay at home, would consider move to right home.
One is a 14.3 grey 17year old Connemara gelding who has done a bit of everything and is my best friend. He is a real character and because of this, despite being a fab young teenagers pony, needs an experienced home as he can be strong on the ground. He is good to catch (carrots help), load and for the farrier, but is terrified of clippers.
Would be an ideal mother daughter share or for someone wanting a bit of a go at everything, would potentially do BD and be a very good show prospect as lovely example of his breed.
The second is my baby, I rescued her from a meat farm in France 4 years ago and she is now 6. Unfortunately I am too old to do her justice and I would love to see someone pony clubbing her etc as she is very talented jumping wise but needs schooling on the flat due to her trotter breeding, her canter is coming along well outside of the school but needs work inside. She isn’t a novice ride but would suit a teenager wanting a talented project. She is quirky so needs an understanding person who can help her reach her potential. Happy to help someone along with her as would love to see her competing as she loves to work.
and do the prices seem fair?
I feel awful but I have had a real down few months and I am spending so much money but none of them are doing what I really want to do so surely its better for all of us if I give them the chance they need to do for someone what they want to do, if that makes sense? I hate feeling like I am giving up.
