As all the others have said take out the emotional phrases it just puts buyers off. Clive and the 17hh mare I would keep, rehome the others and give it a year with just the two and see where youre at. I sold a mare who was green only in light work 16hh TB and she went for £600 and is now working her way up to becoming a lovely event horse, your prices are a lot too high for horses with vices and no record. I think over 3k for either is extremely hopeful.
I understand more than most about how depressing it all can be I have 7 of my own and have gone through stages of wanting to cut down, now I have sorted my head out I am a lot happier, I want to dressage and I have a tb and cob that just need a little work to get there, I was thinking of selling a lot but instead have been putting the work into the ones I have to try and get where id like to go. The first two definatly sound like potentials in what you want to do but will take hard work. If you want a been there and done it all BE horse then thats different if youre looking to produce one then I would stick with those two, with only two as well you may well be able to afford more training for you and them and reach your goals quicker xx I do feel for you as have been in the same position.
