Jay is coming on so well now.. E's plans for him is to do more dressage, and eventually get him back into jumping and XC which she loves doing.... My plans for him are to get and keep him fit for her so she can do the XC, so endurance riding for him and I. I would also like to reinstate my membership with IH and get the Listening Post again. (and the car sticker )

for Orie to stay slim and lami free, be brave enough to hack holly by myself, take holly though her novice season of endurance rides and see how she goes.
Non horsey- start building our new house and pass my craniosacral exams with flying colours, set up in a clinic and be inundated with clients ;D

Fantastic to hear what everyone would like to achieve in the coming year - perhaps I ought to put this thread back up again in December to see how much we have actually managed to do!

I would have said do my first Elementary dressage test, but I said that last year, lack of transport prevented me.
It is so frustrating schooliong nicely, but not being able to compete. There is nowhere hackable that does dressgae above prelim level.
I would like to get to the point this year where I can work in a double bridle

This is a great thread and very inspirational
I want to carry on with my RWYM lessons and be a much better rider for my lovely Phoebe. Do a TREC competition and not get lost and be brave enough to go to a riding club dressage or jumping clinic. I'm also going to attend the last 2 IH courses and do my project.
Good luck to everyone with your ambitions and hopefully I will see some of you when we are all at The Windsor Horse Show to cheer Kelly to victory in May.

I'd like to get my Exmoor to some shows which involves getting her to travel and then behaving reasonably well in public and also keeping her Sweet Itch at bay enough that she doesn't have bald/sore patches all over her!
Also I'd like to get thin enough to ride my Sec A so she can get thin enough to be seen in public and then we can all go out to shows together! ;D

My plans for 2011 are to get a nice horse, to start competing (showjumping), to do some fun rides and maybe some XC and bloodhounding, to get a better job & get my horsebox fixed which I think isnt going to be cheap.

I start EE teacher training, will complete my psychology project and hope to get invited to do my IH Stage 2.
I will take my mare out competing successfully BSJA, sell my pony and keep my old boy comfortably retired.

I hope to keep Fizzy a bit fitter over the summer so he doesn't put on weight. (ha ha!) Ride my instructor's lovely horse Neo at lots more clinics and keep improving my riding.
Non- horsey Lose all the x-mas weight myself and my assignment for part of a masters passes with flying colours.
