Having a megga family party here on the 2nd, so my ambition is to cook on the 1st, party on the 2nd, recover on the 3rd, and then, hmmm, pray the snow and frost goes without leaving too much mud and get myself and pony fit again. Think that will do for starters.

Well, 2011 Ive decided will be when Archie and me go and try out the local cross country fences - only the tiny ones though . I have a real fear of solid fences, so it will be a challenge. . And also to work on getting him ( and me) off the forehand and working better.

To enjoy the horses, ride a fair bit and continue the work on Spanish Walk, piaffe and passage that we started the baby steps of with my "dressage" horse towards the end of this year. She's the "dressage" horse just to differentiate her from the polo ponies!

Jewel: Focus on perfecting our flatwork ;D And start jumping, doing local shows, hopefully showjumping aswell Sam: Start doing some in-hand showing, then mid summer break him in and bring him on. Merlin: Bit of everything, schooling, dressage, possibly do a bit of jumping! I'd also like to start and take my Aunts Irish Draught to some dressage competitions! My 2011 will be very busy!

No big horsey ambitions for 2011 as I need to get the rest of my life sorted (since it pays for the horses!). Pass my teacher training, find a job and possibly relocate as a result. If I can get the ladies fit and to a couple of 20 mile endurance rides later in the season then that would be fabulous.
Oh, and to meet a lovely man would be good too!!!

Get Spring out and about. Hopefully a XC schooling, low level dressage and a fun ride. She'll be ten in April, so it's about time

I will qualify as a Centered Riding Instructor (thanks Lisap & KathyN) and get Synergy Equine Experience up and running. I just need a place to run it from.
