We're just deciding whether to cancel this weekend's horse psychology course. We have people coming from all parts of Britain.
Can any DGers tell us what area they are from and what the weather is like to help our decision?
Many thanks
Kelly

Near Perth in Scotland and it is pretty bad, main motorways etc cleared but country roads are sheet ice with packed down snow and everyday town roads are pretty bad too. That said we have been forcats more snow which hasnt really arrived apart from a few showers.

I live just below Peterborough and we had none over night but it's snowing pretty well now, got a good ground covering.
I work in Bucks, and got most of the way there before having to turn around due to stranded cars - they are under a good 8 inches in places there!

Ascot / Bracknell, Berkshire is deep in snow and it's still snowing now. Main roads are pretty bad round here, smaller lanes impossible. Most offices in Bracknell are being closed as we speak!

Most of the schools in Milton Keynes are closed - just come back to walking to the field!

Shropshire - main (gritted) roads are open ditto motorways according to local radio. We have less than an inch of snow, but it is on top of ice where the gritters didn't get to. I think it is localised even within the county.

Lincolnshire not too bad. Side roads are dodgy, main roads OK (around Lincoln anyway). My daughter works in Boston South Lincs and there had not been any snow there yesterday.
Why not relocate the course to Lincs!! I'm sure I could find a suitable venue ;D

Solihull, West Mids 3 - 4 inches of snow. Side roads awful; Main roads reasonable. between stratford and leamington spa, and very similar to this. maybe 5 inches though, and still snowing. I havent gone to work today, dont want to risk the drive there and then back at midnight if it keeps snowing

Gloucestershire has had between 4-6 '' snow. Police advising not to drive unless essential. Cars abandoned everywhere. Had to bring our cattle off the common yesterday so that we could ensure enough feed and water for them all. Horse is yarded but as he has a full haynet, couldn't care less about the weather. Only the tractor is able to get out of our track/lane.
