I've got an idea, and rather than spend months floating loads of thoughts around, thought I'd post up and see how many might be interested in this. Say we had another boogie, this time in the South (so that we can play hosts to our northern friends and let Jen put her feet up!). Maybe timed to mark the end of the EMW fundraising year... I am thinking of a particular venue in Maidstone, which has a large hall, on-site catering, loads of parking, is reasonable distance from the station AND has bedrooms with B+B - so you only have to find the stairs, rather than the canal... ;D (Which was actually a good laugh I hasten to add!). If I could sort this, and a good disco and basic buffet, drinks brought at a bar - how much would it be worth per ticket? £15? £20? £25? And more importantly - do you think you'd come?

How much you reckon? The answers to this will help me work out if it's viable

Have tent, will travel Is there anywhere to camp I personally thought the boogie tickets would have been more expensive, I'd certainly have paid £15 and maybe even £25 to go.

I am new to this site, living down south, I would certainly go sounds like the Northern one was a good laugh.
It would be great to meet some new faces. I would certainly pay up to £25

That's great! I don't know about camping Yann... They have nice lawns... ;D I'm please people are talking slightly higher figures, because it would make it easier to make a profit for EMW. Hmmm... this might just work...

I'd be up for partying somewhere central south. Maidstone, that's Kent isn't it? Sounds too far to be feasible for me I would need to get up super early as I have dog and yard full of horses to pass onto somebody for at least the night. There were mutterings of a New Forest boogie - now that I could get to easily ;D

I'd be up for it - could possibly find you a band, too, if you wanted.
£20 seems very reasonable to me.
