Yep I do! Lloyd is great, because he is so big, there is a space where his shoulder meets his neck which is just perfect for hugs! And he gets called Monster all the time

mine doesnt always like cuddles, but when he does he gets a big hug, his nicknames are fluffy fluffy bear bear stinky and several others if he is in a very good mood I get a kiss from him, too, or rather a slobber up the side of my face. I love to cuddle him and smell him I think horses smell so nice, when my mum died earleir this year his mane was perfect to cry into and he wrapped his head and neck round me I think he knew I was sad...

Guilty!! Cuddles are fab!! Ebs is grumpy cow bag, moo, moose, snebs, snebbley, mareish and, occasionally, beautiful! She's not a cuddles horse, in the field if you go up to her (unless you have food) she pins her ears back, stamps and stalks off, often shoving her bum in your face as well When she's back from a long ride she'll stand still sometimes for a hug, but doesn't really join in Deej loves cuddles when he's in the right mood, sometimes he just wants to bite you but quite often he love cuddles, you just snuggle up and stroke him and rub and itch him, and he grooms you gently, your hair or hat, or coat. You have to watch him, because he can get a bit exited and bite by mistake He gets called Deejy, Weej, Weejiboy, Weeji, widge, squidge, digeridoo, sugar plum fairy (he loves that one!) schnuggums, babbyboi, didgeriwidgeri and various other baby names! Graham gets called lots of names, as Graham is such an unhorsey name! He's usually G, or G-boy, or G-horse (like G-Force?? but horse! how cool) GeeGee, gigi, Geegiweegi, g-gulls, jeep, grayeywayey, geebles or Geeeesss. how much of a baby namer am i?? He likes cuddles occasionally, he grooms your hair very gently, and nuzzles your pockets and shoulders hes quite huggable too!! I love cuddling horseys...

Ours love a cuddle, and they usually end up being called the wrong names anyway! I told Bramble she was a "good boy" the other day, no wonder she gave me a funny look!

I used to cuddle sherb but got my "run down" email from Heather yesterday and it said to give him consistent leadership and not cuddle him. So, he won't be getting any cuddles. :-( He won't care, he just stands there waiting for me to let go anyway!

My daughters horse is called Merlin and she goes barmey when I call him Merl the girl, he should have been a mare, my horse is called Roscoe and he gets called alsorts because he's a very naughty lad lol!

Good grief, you're all ready for the funny farm. Cuddle my horses? Why?
Because they've got lovely soft noses and love to snuggle up to my jacket. That's why.
Maisie was Maisie moo-bag or cowbag most of the time, but in a very complimentary way! Herbie is Herbs, Herbal, Herbivore, or more recently Stud Muffin, as he's started mounting a little girly pone in his field. Nostalgia is Tal, Tally, or you-orrible-lil-git-come-here, again most affectionately!
It is a balancing act as I do believe that any behaviour should be instigated by me, and I should decide when it stops. By doing so I have made it clear that I'm the one who calls the shots. That may not always be necessary, but I prefer to keep the status quo, so's there's no confusion. Too much cuddling on their terms and they may start thinking they own me, instead of me owni....... aah, well.
