Following on from a thread on the main board, I am offering a free ground handling session for RDA groups who's helpers are interested in handling the horses in a kind, sympathetic, effective manner.
This is not an implication that you do not already do this I hasten to add, and is, as I have said, following on from a thread on the main board
I would love to be able to throw his open to the whole country, but I am afraid I have to limit it to a 20 mile radius of Farnham in Surrey.
Please PM me if you think the RDA group that you run/help at may be interested

I KNOW SLIGHTLY OFF TOPIC BUT WE DONT HAVE A LOCAL RDA oops sorry giant letters is there a way of starting one??

You'd have to contact the Riding for the Disabled Association, possibly the regional contact person.
I used to be group organiser and an instructor for a group in Herts. I can tell you from experience, it's not an easy thing to run, even with a well established group. If you're serious about setting one up, pm me and I'll tell you how our group worked, what was needed and what you'd have to consider.
