Hi everyone, This event was at my yard and I was judging an obstacle. It was a great day with lots of lovely horses and ponies. I just wondered if anyone on here was competing. I am absolutely dying to give this a go, unfortunately my pony is not quite right yet. Lx

Hi there,
I nearly was - does that count?! I did the 2 day that Cambstrec did at Forest Edge in the spring and thought about doing this as well. But he has just done the GB Champs (4 days in the lorry to Scotland and back!!) and then Geldeston only a week later... so I thought he might want a break from it for a bit... There was a beach fun ride and bbq local to me and we went to that instead and had a great time splashing about in the waves and galloping through the surf - if I was IT competent enough I'd post some pics!
Anyway, maybe next year! Glad it went well, its good that Yvonne does them as there is so little locally and TREC is fantastic. Well done for judging!

Hi Bridget
Sound as though you have been really busy! I would love to take my pony onto the beach one day. I am hoping to compete at some of the indoor Trec comps over the Winter. I went to watch my instructor at Forest Edge last year.

I'm hoping to do the indoor ones at Forest Edge too. I've been doing TREC since about 2003 but it was my boy's first year competing (remedial pony so has taken a while to get going!) so I think the practice will be really good for him. Come and say hello - you won't miss us, he 's chestnut and his bridle is bright electric blue!
