Hello
Just joined up as I am currently reading through Perfect Confidence and saw that there is a section here on that very topic.
My confidence is up and down though never that good when it is up. I have had a few spills and broken bones over the past 10 years or so. But the worst thing was my partner accidently being kicked in the head by his horse and spending 5 days on a life support machine. Glad to say he recovered fully.
I started riding about 10 years ago at the age of 45 having ridden a little as a teenager. Between us my OH and I have 3 horses with whom we do a bit of flat work/dressage and hacking.
I live in North Wales.
My goal for the autumn is to get hacking in the forest which we will have to box the horses to, and then getting down onto the beach.
Looking forward to sharing experiences with others.
Cheers!
