Carla Lane's poetry contains the same wry observations on life which have made her one of television's most popular and successful writers. This selection of poetry deals with everything from a Stray Dog, to her Granny's Bucket.
Carla Lane, OBE (born August 5 1937 in Liverpool) is an English television writer, writing or co-writing many successful sitcoms. In the 1960s she wrote short stories and radio scripts.
