Need to have a clue what to bring with me - have heard about ballgowns and Jen1's lovely little red number so need some help please. ;D

I am wearing a dark purple long dress - I thought it looked flattering 2 yrs ago - but put on weight since so it doesn't at the moment - dieting like mad!!

LOL! I am wearing a deep red dress (to match the stripes in me hair). It is quite plain, mid calf and has flouncy bits at the bottom. No beading or embroidery because I always lose the beads and end up with threads hanging... no tiara either. ;D p.s. If some disaster befalls my red dress before the night... it does need a wash you see... then it will be a similarly plain black dress, which would be just below the knee on many people, but of course on me the pointy bits on the hem brush the floor.  Modified to add - I do know there are a fair few people wearing trousers and nice tops. |

ooo I am so toying with the idea of a nice dress or maybe even taking a leaf out of Jen1's book at her barn boogie hehe - not sure if I could be so bold though lol
