Cant believe i am writing about you on rainbow bridge spotty. You should be here grazing in the field with your buddies not galloping over rainbow bridge.
You broke your leg while playing out in the Field on Friday afternoon while i was driving up to see family in Grantham, there was nothing i or the vet could do to save you and my poor mum and dad had to say a final goodbye to you. you were so brave to just stand there eating your hay while you must have been in so much pain. when i first got you you were were none as the ginger git and "the killer horse" but you turned out to be a bit of a pussy cat, scared of your own Shadow, you did scare a few people mind by chasing them across the fields but it gave me a laugh. over the last 12 years i have laughed at your silly antics and cried when you had a badly infected eye from sticking your head in a bush and finding a lone piece of barbed wire! but you coped with the treatment and i had plenty of cuddles.
I have no idea why you were called spotty but it stuck and you were forever none as spotty boy.
we have a foal due soon spotty and i no it will be a chestnut colt so we have decided to call him Dreamer after your show name.
I may not have been with you when you left us last Friday spotty, but you are and will always be in my thoughts and one day we will meet again.
