Hi All!
Come to rack your brains again!
I put a thread on here about a pony that I had ended up with because of one thing and another, anyway I want to find her a home as a companion...so maybe a loan home??
I wish stay her owner and am willing to contribute financially but would like the home to be long term where she can just chill ( had a very hectic life so far!) She is 9 yo, 12.2hh Roan mare she needs a bit of handleing work such a sweetie not nasty just nervous, which I would be happy to pay for (due to me moving around alot I havent got time to teach her myself) She is unstarted and preffers to live out 24/7 as thats what she is used too. I dont want her started but would like her at least handleable just incase of vet and what not.
I know I am asking the impossible but this board hasn't let me down yet so just thought I'd pop something up!
Thanks. PM me if anything springs to mind, photo's and full story avaliable =)
Tansy x

Your mare sounds like a good pony to put on Varkie`s Project Horses website ( http://www.projecthorses.co.uk) as well as to advertise on this board. She sounds like an interesting project for someone who has done some IH courses.
It might help if you tell us which area of the country you are in. Good luck with finding a home for her.

Oh yeah... DER! lol
She is in Gloucester at the moment at a friends yard but I need to find her some where permanent. She really would make a great Project for someone. I just havent got time to do anything with her im all over the place The obly reason I have kept her is because i was scared of where she'd end up. Like I said im happy to contribute financially but yeah if someone could get some experience from her that would be brill!
Thanks Ann!

Totally agree with Ann - Varkies Project horses is a wonderful site! I re-homed a very difficult case though there, and it went beautifully. I also looked on there when I was looking for a companion recently, but actually found a fellow though EE.
Good luck, remember to have a very good contract, visit the horses prospective home, and then visit again within a month or two. If you have any doubts or the pony changes for the worse, take her back pronto, don't procrastinate like I did, or you'll regret it.

Hi Tansy, Just my fourpenneth! LOL! I have this mares foal (well he's a yearling now) and he is a fab little chap and has taken well to training using a clicker and IH style training. Anyway, consequently I have met this little mare and she really is very sweet and even having just spent a little time with her in the field and just giving her scratches and fuss, she really wants to trust you and work with you. If I had my own place and the time I would have her too, but sadly I just don't. She really deserves a lovely IH type home.
