See my other recent thread to see how I acquired a lovely 2 year girl, but short story is have her or she'll be put down.
I'm not really set up for a Ex Racer but didn't feel I had much choice, she and another TB my friend has both loaded fantasticallly into a mates lorry. She travelled like a dream, allowed my to move patition and change her rug and take her boots of in the lorry when we arrived.
Rugged her up in 2 middle weight turn out as have no stables, she unloaded reasonably ok even though has to unload on road and she was very excited, had a little rear and pulled me about - later learnt she has only ever been handled in chiffney
She used to living in but seems to have adjusted really well, she ran through the elecy fence on the first night and has been haring around in mud so is a little sore. She choked on her feed on Saturday and had to get vet out who has put her on Danilon for a couple of days cause she's sore.
She loves my donkey and follows him round and my old TB lad has fallen in love with her. Found them all stood in the field shelter eating hay from the same net this morning which was so lovely.
She's a little underweight so have started feeding her SS purabeet, Lucie Nuts, Blue Nuts and Lucie Chop with Eclipse Recovery which should help her handle all the stuff.
My friend who has the 4 year old TB has also settled in really well in one of my paddock with a highland mare.
Anyway here are the pics - opinions on her confirmation would be great.
