Hello Auntie Jacky, Sunny here. Thankyou for asking how I am, Mummy keeps telling people I look like a cross between a giraffe and a furry ( mouldy ) wedge of cheese Is that a good thing Today is our school play and I'm getting ready to play all 3 Kings ( there is only me to do it ) I've got a gold crown which fits around my ears really well, and I've got a red sparkly necklace which Mummy says will get me accustomed to wearing a sash ( she hopes ) I like wearing them, they make me look important. I wanted to play Baby Jesus, but my bums too big to get in the manger The photos are not very good 'cos Mummy says I kept moving and they're blurred, but I think she is just a carp photographer ( I learnt that word from auntie Di Di Hee Hee ;D) Merry Christmas to everyone Luv from Sunny xxx I'm NOT moving my head MUM OOOOH LOOK ! It's a STAR -------------------can I eat it? I DID NOT pull it down, HONEST Where's baby Jesus then ps from Mum This foal's temperament never ceases to amaze me!

I love this foal. He is my favourite DG baby I think (Sorry Az) He reminds me so very much of a Thoroughbred mare I had, sired by Slip Anchor. This foal has a brilliant length of neck, nice short back and should be so well balanced and comfy to ride. Oh how I hope I win the lottery.......... I know I keep going on about his conformation, especially legs and proportions (Neck/Back/hind) but being correct mechanically allows for efficient movement, less stress and strains etc, and I would be so proud to have bred this lad...

You will make him very big headed Jackie. In actual fact he going through a terrible gawky phase and looks pretty awful, until he lights up, ( which is not very often ) Most of the time he scuffs round the field with his hands in his pockets if you know what I mean but I'd rather he was plain now, than later on in the middle of the show season. He is still out with his little girlfriend, and still fine with that at the moment. I await the day he discovers he's a boy, when things will have to change. He is around 13.1 infront and 13.3 -14hh behind lol, so all you see is his big bottom When I took those pics, the girls had already gone out and he and his mate were left, and he couldn't care less. Long may it last

Bless his little heart what a superb temperment he must have, not a bit of fuss at being decorated with his tinsel and crown! Gawky or not Julia he looks fabulous to me and I'm sure he'll just keep on getting better and better if your other babies are anything to go by! Have a wonderful Christmas x

He's lovely SS3, and I love the pics of him dressing up. Seeing them has brought back some lovely memories of my homebred gelding wearing baseball caps when he was a few weeks old. I lost him due to an accident (aged just 16) in August and have been pretty sad every time I think of him but those pics of Sunny have reminded me of how much fun we had watching him grow. He'd often come over and just lay down with the dogs while my mum and I were poo picking. And when ever we were on the yard he'd be over like a shot, we'd often put a numnah and on him and then lead him around, I think it made him feel important. He was so inquisitive - even used to come over when he heard the clippers so we used to hold them backwards on him and let him get used to the vibration on his skin. He didn't bat an eyelid.
Thanx for sharing those pics and giving me some happy thoughts of my boy before Xmas.
