I just looked at some of their videos and am gobsmacked. How can they ride such beautiful animals in such an unnatural way, sorry but they have reduced them to look like freaks of nature. I am mortified but sadly I fear that education isn't really anything they are interested

There is nothing you can do to educate those who do not wish to be educated.
All you can do is to get out there showing your own horses as well behaved, nice animals, and show them winning in the ring because of your riding/their training. Those are the things that will make others who are not otherwise interested, want to ride/train in a better way.

I think he needs longer stirrups or a bigger horse...

not to mention how he is hanging on to the horses mouth

what a complete 'handle on a door'. It really riles me when these beautiful horses are used in this way.

Oh there is some horrific information to be found on training the saddlebred to move that way. Aside from pounding on its loins. From weighted shoes and the chains you see around this horses pasterns to driving nails into the feet. Mostly band but still going on. And what is that rein - a baring/ draw rein combo? Beggars belief - you can see why naive public like the flashy movement though such ignorance

Looking at their price list, ridden pictures and credit-card facilities, I think we know where the focus of this 'yard' is.

Kanga - nothing wrong with making very good money - but not to the detrimant of the horse
Moo- You look on his web site and the video link is there.
Look up soring - that is the word for the things they do/did to the poor horses to make them move in this way.

Saddles are way too long - rider sat at the back - all the weight on the loins, plus banging up and down - horrendous!!! It all looks very wrong, but they're successful in the showring, so the problem is deeper rooted that just this yard.
