Hi, Does anyone know of any DIY, or semi DIY stables in the Barnstaple/ Bideford area that would be suitable for 2 retired mares. No fancy facilities needed, but safety and security not compromised on.

There is a nice yard at just out of bishops tawton harepie David and Mary but don't know there number now can say don't go near Lady Caroline's place at Tawstock it has awful reputation. There is also one at Yelland but don't know that one either - we don't do DIY now as were able to find a yard with 5 acres last year thank goodness but good luck. Sally Jobstone Scott at Northam may be doing DIY as she is giving up her riding school business as well.
