I think this was the lady from last week? She is a nutritionist just to make it more sick!! she moved to spain to breed prolific event horses but apparently vet fees etc got the better of her?

The stud is just down the road from us, and it was me who contacted the Tracy at natural horseriding spain, who is affiliated to IH. She said at the time that all of the horses would have been pts, so I have contacted her again with the link and latest update, asking for any information or help she can give.

I have a Holme Grove Trakehner filly and I am mortified that this has happened. I am adding my name to the list of places for rehoming/recovering as well as sending a donation.

I will be happy to donate once I am sure that the funds will be needed and the horses will be saved. Will also contact the stud to ensure that they are also putting in substantial amounts.

I cant comprehend this at all.. to take off of those horses to Spain must have cost a lot of money why on earth.. and no statement seems to be made about the owner in this.. what on earth..
I was not happy at how I saw my friends spanish horses kept in spain, but waa told that was the norm but they were not starved but this is terrible... has the owner gone bonkers...
I cant take it in..
You get someone like Tracy lose a much loved Holly die through something you cant control and a women takes horses not in fit state and then lets them die is sooo B***** UNFAIR to all concerned.. it makes me sooo b***** angry...

I live in gloucestershire and she is only a year younger than my daughter. She was a arrogant teenager then and on the circuit nobody liked her very much. Too much money and not enough sense. It is so cruel but I am not surprised

I've just got back from near Cadiz, I wish I'd known I would have tried to donate or help whilst there - my sister speaks Spanish I will ask her to translate for me.

I have just heard back from Tracy in Spain & she has contacted the stud here, who have also replied to me.
They have still not been able to get much information or any access to the horses, and are trying to find out more.
I would be happy to help and donate, when they have more information about the condition of the horses and know how money can help. In the meantime if we all keep the story in the limelight (I will see if our local paper will pick up on the story then perhaps TV/Radio on behalf of the stud) and then we may be able to put pressure on Spanish aiuthorities to do something
