A warning to all Worcestershire / Herefordshire Horse owners!!
And also Tenbury Wells Locals to me, as on Friday evening between 8.30pm and 8am 2 of my ponies were attacked with scissors! My one pony had his beautiful long curly fill mane cut off and also has a cut on the crest of this neck. My other rescue Welsh Cob has a L Shaped cut on her face.both equines were severely traumatised by the event.
This happened at a private yard and field near Hanley Braodheath, Tenbury Wells, the yard is near to the roads and adjacent houses and is what we deemed as very secure as places go! We can not believe who would be sick enough to carry this out. I'm still in shock and feel physically sick just thinking about it.
If anyone saw anything or any suspicious vehicles near to the Tenbury Wells and Clifton on Teme. (B4204 road) on Friday evening between 8pm and 8am then please can they contact me direct on 07796560525 so all information can be passed onto the police. This has caused huge heartache to my family and also my animals.I have not slept since this happened due to worrying.
The scissors used have been found and are currently with the Police who are carrying out fingerprint tests.
