I am Naomi I live in Dorset and have 3 ponies and 1 horse. I am hoping to do work my way through all the IH courses. All my horses are rescues or have 'issues'.
I have Loki who is a lovely welsh section A he had quite a few problems but is now a mischievous little monster who loves showing off and life. I have Sofi who had done nothing when I got her and was generally petrified of everything she is now a loving affectionate little lady who loves everyone and I am hopnig to break t oharness as well as do endurance with she is a shetland x NF. Then there is Bubbles a troulbed old mare who was given to me almost a year ago as her behaviour was becoming so difficult she was getting dangerous, after 3 months of owning her it was obvious Bubs trouble was she no longer enjoyed being ridden so she is now retired and very much enjoying her quieter life....
Then i have Joey. Joey I have had for about 3 months he is an ex-racehorse and is 6 years old. I collected a very quiet, underweight, withdrawn lifeless horse. He now has filled out settled and is now starting to 'open up' but in doing so he is displaying very difficult behaviours. I know Joey is a fantastic little horse trapped in a very confused and scared little horse. I bought him for dressage but before we can compete I have an incredibly long journey with Joey. I am hoping he will be chosen as a demo horse in October. For now I am taking everyday as it comes and Joey never ceases to amaze me with his sudden panics, aggressive behaviour etc all of which appear to have no trigger. All I need to do is find his trigger.....
Anyway sorry for the essay that's me.
