Hi I'm an Equine Touch practitioner and you will have a great time on a level 1 course Be prepared to learn loads, its a fab course, lots of fun but at the end of it you can do a full basic body balance which is fantastic. Dont be fooled by the word "basic" you will use this thoughtout your training and as a practitioner if you go on to qualify, so its not something you do on the first course and then not use. On the level 1 course you will also learn to do the moves on each other... Have fun!!

I have done 1 and 2 and want to be a practitioner too. It was really good, the trainers are very good and enthusiastic. The level 1 starts on people first before they let you loose on the horses, then they show you the moves and watch you do them a few at a time, by the end of day 3 we worked in pairs and did a complete body balance. Level 2 starts with reinforcing level one moves and then introduces more complicated moved and more areas of concern.

I can't wait to do it, I really hope that this is something I can use to help my horse.

I'm sure you'll be able to use it to help your horse. And once you've resolved any existing issues together, ET will help you to maintain him/her. Not only is it therapeutic in many of the beneficial effects, but it's also a great form of communication that will help strengthen your relationship with your horse.
So you must be going to Glastonbury? You'll have a lovely time ... not to mention plenty of coffee and biscuits in a farmhouse kitchen :-)

Yes I am going to Glastonbury, I have exchanged a few e-mails with Lyn and she seems like a really lovely person.

I'm another who has done level one, and it's really great. You learn such a lot, not least that it's very good for people too. You will have a wonderful time, with some brain overload. I'm hoping to do level two this year.

I did Level 1 in August and it was brilliant. I particularly enjoyed the human work which I didn't think that I would! A couple of us felt very nauseous after the human work though which shows what a powerful effect it can have ... I presume that means that we need to have some work done on ourselves! I think that you'll have a great time and learn a lot. I want to carry on and do more courses. I tried it on my mare the day after and she ended up neck straight down, nose on the ground she was so relaxed! This is a horse who was completely upside down when I got her and didn't know the meaning of 'long and low' I'll have to try and find the piccie

Im going to do level 1 in March at the ILPH, cant wait, have ET done on my horses and they seem to enjoy it thought I might learn to do it for my own personal use, plan doing Level 2 this year and 3 and 4 next year, wont trade as a practitioner I doubt, but I want to do the whole thing. Although you never know I may practice properly if I really enjoy doing it
