Well thought this was a idea while thinking of how this year has been to me. I started off my 2006 on a down hill, wouldn`t ride a horse Tisch had not been ridden for over 3 or 4 months and i was slowly getting sick of it all. So while i was to scared to ride, i took photos..we had lovely snow days together. Then got to braking point, took my life in my own hands lol and got back on..... after a month Then after bonding and really getting back to what it was all about, we booked our first show and did a few ridden classes, we got placed 3rd and 5th maybe a 4th i cant remember lol! Then i wasted most of the summer as i felt unhappy hacking and just could not face it, no matter how hard i tried so with it being hot, he had some more time off being ridden now and again. Then came the end of the summer, being ridden about 2-3 times a week, we booked our next show. He won and got 2nd and 3rd!! I sorted things out and got a new saddle for him a few weeks later.... He went lame with a cut and had a month off but then returned to work, schooling hacking and lessons. By oct he was ridden every day and he had his first clip ;D Now i have a job, lost weight, Tisch is fit jumping and working well...what will 2007 be I know i kick it off with dressage in the first week...maybe i will make 2007 goals to have fun enjoy him and not waste time like i have done! oh..and i did a few jumps, we are still working hows your year been to you?

2006 could of started better for me, but then i had the good furtune of finding Nochero and then we have had the best 6 months together. We did one show this year and was placed 4th first time out. We still enjoy our walks out, and busy learning new things every day but heres to 2007 !
Hay you have done so well together this year and i love reading what everyone has been up to.

Well done to you Hay, what a good year. And look at how fit he looks now compared to the first ridden picture, you've done a great job with him.

What an improvement, you must be so proud, and he is lovely. Our year has been similar - finding that Caspar was deficient in Magnesium and that was the key to going from dangerous to even get on to working softly in the school and standing still for me to get back on in the field last week. Keep on keeping on - who knows where Tisch could take you now?
