Arsonists target stables

SIX horses were rescued as flames swept through a livery yard on Teesside.

Neighbours and a passer-by rescued the horses - one, a mare in foal - from their stalls at Bankfield Farm, Eston, as a straw barn was engulfed by the fire which was deliberately started.

Thank god they were all rescued safe and sound. There truly are some sick individuals out there, things like this beggars belief.

the yard that was sued and the subject of discussion on here couple weeks ago also had an arson fire...sadly none of the horses, or the dog with her pups survived it.....

glad these ones did though....anybody starting a fire deliberately must be sick and twisted to even consider it!

Well, my mum always said that God doesn't pay his debts in money! So I really hope that all these horrid people get their just desserts in some way, whether it be in this life or another one.

That is totally shocking!!! So pleased all got out ok but imagine the distress they must have and probably are still going thro.
I work for the prison service and Arsonists are sentenced as seriously as Murderers so lets hope these calculating, devious B!!!ARDS are caught and convicted appropriateley!!!

Its nice to know there are good kind people out there who helped as well as the barstools who set fire to it.

This is another reason i dont stable my horses much, the stables are wood, and we do get alot of visits from evil people at night.

thats awful im glad all the horses got rescued. This is one of my biggest fears, and unfortunetly my lad has to be stabled at night.

I'm thinking electrified razor-wire, that'd keep those sick evil people out...would ruin the views though I expect:( I'd hate to have stables that looked like Fort Knox
