Following on from Lindas thread!
Was in the house watching Olympia and feeling ill, when i heard my neighbour shouting for me. Opened door and asked her what was wrong, and there we're people at my yard moving my jumps, attempting to steal them. They luckily struggled lifting them over the 7 ft of fence, but sadly heard my neighbour shout to me so drove off before we got up there to get them.
BUT, they we're driving a LARGE WHITE TRANSIT VAN. Both we're wearing hats but we couldn't see much else because of the distance.
Please please be aware! we have added another 2 paddlocks to our gate tonight. I know if they want the jumps they will have them, but it saves them driving the van in, loading the jumps and leaving the gates open!
Keep youe eyes open!

Susan I am certainly NOT complaining here at all! I am warning other people around my area to be extra careful, and no, no photos we're taken because as i said, the yard is too far away.

I think most complaints about police inaction aren't against individual officers. Certainly, as someone who's brother is in the force, I understand their frustrations, but it still aggrevates me that I pay an inordinate amount of tax and get a rubbish service in respect of law enforcement. The problem is that if no-one is willing to complain, it must be ok, well, actually its not ok! ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png)

Maybe its time to get a big bad dog or two? If its a 7ft fence you would have no trouble keeping them in. I hope you frightened them off for good!

Well just a little update really. They didn't come back in the night, all the paddlocks on the gate are all still how we left them and sound, and nothing else has moved. Hopefully they've moved on for good.
