Ah, your horses look lovely! Very festive. Hope the ride was enjoyable. I posted this pic on another thread, but good excuse to put it up again. This is our Xmas ride to the pub on Saturday.

Lovely piccys.
Just got back form our xmas ride 6 horses and riders Me on Conor, Janice on Tess, Lisa on Harry, Diana on Badger, Laureen on Folly and Janet on Bo with our outriders on their mountain bikes, Andy, Chris, Alan, Bryan, accompanied this year by Nick, Amanda and Clare all bedecked with tinsel - well what was left of some of it after Conor had decided that tinsel was a new type of horse feed - retreived most of it but may see some slightly sparkly droppings tomorrow !!
We cross 3 bridges on our xmas ride so the boys can play out the annual pooh sticks competition - 2007 winner was Andy.
There was also the annual competition for the boys to find the best discarded object in the hedge - previous years have revealed hubs caps to bowl along - horses not too impressed, a bag of shopping including tubes of unopened pringles - enjoyed by the bike riders. This years find was a small orange furby ball so the last part of the ride was bike football all the way back to the yard. When we had fed the horses and were taking them back to their fields Folly was nudging the ball around with one of the dogs joining in so we left it with Folly for her to play with, with her field buddies.
Merry Xmas to everyone :0)) Louise
