Bred 2 amazing foals. A coloured filly called Dakota and a Brown ID foal called Ollie. I worship them both. I also bought a lovely trad coloured cob filly from Beeston, rehomed 5 ex polo ponies and bankrupted myself over a wow I've not even ridden in yet - bliss

I am so proud of Rummi and how he has taken Bailey 'under his hoof'. He puts up with quite a lot of yearling messing around, but puts him in his place when needed! The sweetest thing is how Bailey likes to grab hold of Rum's rug tail flap in his mouth, and get 'towed' behind. Rummi just ignores him with a resigned look on his face!
I'm also very proud of how Bailey has developed and growing into a lovely character! Hes exactly the youngster I wanted, and is definately going to give me the challenges I wanted!
I'm looking forward to the New Year when I will get me 2nd Dually (expected Xmas pressie!) and I can start doing ride-and-lead! Just need to have some sort of knee-pad to protect my leg from any sly nips from Bailey!!!!
......oh and SO PROUD of how Rummi looks after my little girls as they learn to do their bouncy trots on him!
Merry christmas my boys!

hummmm been a funny old yr! ive sold my boy *sniffles* but im actually really glad that i made the dission to in a funny way. bought dizzy in jan as this: an unhandled skinny baby with lice and worms and rain scald. and now she is an absolute Mummy's girl and has been a total angel to train really cant fault her at all! thrn bought Ryan... and we all know what happened there! but bless his since August when he came he has made so much progress. hes gone from it taking me a week to catch him, then to it regularly taking a few hours to catch him and now bless him he trots to the gate when he sees me! that is the best feeling in the world! he no longer kicks out has been fine to tie up where as he used to flip out when ever anybody moved quickly. and the thing im most proud ofis that he has lost the look of total dread taht he used to have in his eyes every time anybody went near him now this is a totally rediculars picture but i love it because it shows just how far hes come since i got him... this is my flat mate playing with them in the field! so yer not the yr i had planned at all but been a good one anyway

After bolting at Shows I gave them up. Then last year I went to one and competed in my first dressage test with coblet wearing a snaffle. I have Jennyb to thank for that....

HMM strange year - but good and bad
Well firstly over come a few things with storm who is quite a closed book and seems to be more trusting and cuddly than ever before we are in are 2nd year together now.
The there is Somala who i bought in may as a 3 yr old we had a holiday with storm and somala at Sarah Dents where we backed somala who was a dream and no problem at all - unfortunatly we moved yards which was a big up evil but the best thing i ever did - except the grass is farmland and was a bit rich for somala who in the first week there got lami - but we got over it quick and are getting out in the field now when there is no frost she is just doing a little growing up at the moment and has her 3 yr old days but all in all is brill
Then i got Zorelle - (rescued from france as due to go to slaughter - her diary in the hall of fame) well i couldnt wish for more i saved her from a terrible death - liz p has been a fab foster mum and is teaching me and zorelle loads along the way and zorelle keeps trying for us and is doing brilliant
so hopfully i can have a nicer year next year with the three girls im soo proud of xx

Very bad year for me but its had some good points. My proudest achievement this year is Alfie. I went from being terrified of him because he used to bolt to jumping small jumps cantering around happily and generally likeing him alot more than i did, winning in-hand classes and him just being such a dude in general I think i adore him now. Breaking Misty and seeing him transform into this wonderful kid safe pony was very nice Getting so close to qualifying for Olympia with Lizzie And with Molly, i think i just admire her for not being the grumpiest horse ever for being confined to her stable for 6 months. It's alot for a youngster to have to go through.

i am very proud of my stallion he did his first show and we did it under saddle, he has only ever been to one other show two and half years earlier inhand and was a handful and to actually get to ride him at it and do our first ridden class was amazing, and what more was he went to walk around and hadn't been ridden in about 3 months and was only off 6 weeks box rest. our coloured mare lost her foals and came through it so well, shes enjoying her life in the field at the\moment

Hmm not really a great year for me, lost my beautiful adored mare Mai in September who I had had since early 1999. I was and still am heart broken but I was so proud of her she was a pleasure to own despite a really rocky road to get there and I can now feel proud that I gave her the chance to become the horse she finally was. We got Rosie my OH's horse form Horseworld in the summer who has been a superstar and this month I got the gorgeous Ganancia (Thea), imported from Spain with a lot of help from Rach & Paul at St Pirans Stud. She is three and she is just fabulous - a real charmer and so sweet natured.

Hamish and I went to Francois Lemaire de reuffieu (sorry about the spelling!), which involved driving from Scarborough to Manchester (first time he was towed by me!) and having to work really hard for two days in the school. He was an angel, and I was so proud of him I cried! I hope we can do really well in the next year - I need to get confidence and get him schooled on.

Oooh, loving the horse pic above! Very nice (and prob expensive).
Well - i keep saying 2008 has to be my year. This one didnt go too well. (seems to be a pattern here - neither did the 2 before).
Storm has been lame the whole year. Starting off in Oct 06 continuing to jan 07 when he got laminitis which esculated his feet problems even more. we have been barefoot since march. its been a battle with him and there have been lots of tears. hes come on a long way but still has just as far to go. if we get that far!
Then there is my new horse MB. Who i've had less than 4 weeks. i found him by accident really, wasnt looking and couldnt afford 2 horses! (not to mention hes the most expensive horse i've ever (and ever will!) bought. But so far hes been ace and i cant believe how good he is. So hopefully thats a sign of things to come! i still cant quite believe i've bought him! (and how mad/skint i am!)
