Up till 10.30pm Thurs evening I was sound as a bell ( bar the arthuritus!) All I did was go outside to put my pressure washer away, as I had cleaned my car that day! What did I do? simply over stretch myself as I went to walk on the step up to my back door. I felt the crack as I put weight on my leg as in mid flight of my stride! Oouch..that hurts! then I tried to put my left leg down as I went to walk into kitchen from outside. Big OOch! I could not weight bear my left leg at all! I had only just taken a drink upstairs to hubby, I was about to do same for me, when I remembered I had left the pressure washer out. I then had to shout to him, I have hurt myself, But when you were just up here??? was his response.. no wonder either. Result, on crutches, either damaged ligament or tendon, it is strapped and padded up to restrict any movement and am I fed up at being so dam stupid. Go back in a week and hope rest and anti-inflammatories will mend it. I was going to take Flynn to Junes and join Casper and Lucyloo for a lesson.. baahumbug Ahh well in the scheme of things compared to some this is nothing.. and small hiccup I know, but still so stupid. Anyway bright side, the ironing will get caught up on! Flynn will get time out! so far this year I have hurt back loading dishwasher, hurt back falling off Flynn before I actually got on him, now this.. thank god near 2008

I know what it's like, I broke an arm falling over in a bus queue...
We all have years like that, just hope that you're getting it over all at once and next year will be excellent! Me, I've got the flu and it's as much as I can do to get out of bed to see Bailey. Luckily he is being a real sweetie.
All the best for 2008 Susan, hope the leg heals soon.

I was about 13 and had been sliding on the ice waiting for the school bus to come. Now it would have been understandable if I had done it then, but no. As it got closer to the time we stopped sliding and went and stood off the ice on the grass in an orderly queue so we didn't get the wrath of the teachers on us as they went by as well. I was standing talking to my friends when I fell over my feet...
