Do people straighten their horses manes/ tails as when you see all these competition horses none of them seem to have the average frizzy mane like mine do. Or am I wrong?

For manes, does it depend on whether they are rugged or not? I find if my boy has a neck cover on he has a long straight mane, otherwise it's all wavey

Some horses have naturally wavey manes Magnum. Do you "lay" his mane every day with a damp water brush ( underneath and then on top.) ? That will help a lot.

I don't mind Magnum's frizz lol but was just curious seeing as now horse hair extensions are available and the showjumpers etc always seem to have silky straight manes and was just wondering if they were straightened as I heard of somebody who showed who did this

Showjumpers often cut them which tends to leave you with a thick straight mane

I'm sure someone on here spotted another livery using hair straighteners on the mane
