When I used to go to horse sales in the UK, mules always made decent enough money to ensure that it wasn't the meat man they were going to, and those were the ordinary 10-11 handers, probably welsh crosses. Next to donkeys and spotteds these were the money makers in the pony ring. The taller a mule is, the more popular it will be for riding purposes presumably. It depends what you want the mule for, and how big the jack is. Here Mammoth jacks are over 14h, and crossed with draft mares make harness animals, crossed with whatever else they are in demand for riding horses, there are sites devoted to mule lovers and I frequently see them advertised at over 16h!! I have seen photos of a gorgeous grey mule on a Forum, is it this one? She looks like an arab with long ears. Mules are also raced in the US, so they must be crossed with tbs. This is the North American equivalent of Horsemart, I searched for mules and came up with a variety, you may find it interesting just to see the different types: www.horsetopia.com
