Look at my website www.bettersaddles.co.uk it features most of them. It is best to trial one first; I offer a trial on more or less all of them.

I would add only the same as most people on here - in that try as many as you can. There are quite a few different ones on the market now - and there are different. They come from different "stables" as it were - dressage/ endurance/ hacking etc - and so look and feel differnet. I am quite convinced by the one I have - a Solution saddle - I hunted far and wide until I found one I liked (though I had to save mightily!) I don't regret it - I even take it on holiday with me! And use it there! It creates no pressure points, and flexes beautifully with every stride and movement the horse makes. I love watching horses try it. The alternative horse and better saddles websites feature many treelesss saddles. Solution saddles have just brought out a GP now - which people have been asking for - it is very popular! Pictures: Here is a "before" - you can see the "saddleprint" - this was not taken after the horse had been ridden either - and the photo doesn't really show how deeo the print went. And here is an "after". Six months later. Lovely back! Solution Saddle on a horse: One being ridden in: And here are some Befores and Afters (although in one there is a different rider - but the original rider tried it too - I just didn't get any pics! Yes - we told him off about the hatlessness). Before (in owners own saddle that is): After: Before: After: Before (very capable rider and nice schooled horse): After: (look at neck and shoulders and front leg stride in particular) Sorry they have come out so small!

Well don;t have a treeless myself but have ridden a D in both a Torsion and a Freeform. Found them both tipped me forward and I found it hard to get a decent leg position (I am used to show saddles so it wasn't the lack of a huge knee roll.) It may not have helped that the pony isn;'t the most uphill... Fine for hacking just got a bit annoying that there was soemthing else to think about when schooling

I found that in teh Torsion too. I liked the Solution as the leg position was just lovely - after ll my fighting with my awfully badly behaved body - it all just slipped comfortably into place! The stirrup bar is set much father back and the design is such that your leg hangs underneath rahter than forward. All my riding aches and pains disappeared too - says a lot!
What an utterly gorgeous horse you have!!!
