My name is Lisa
I have just joined IH due to my stunning mare and foal I have just rescued from France.
I have lost all my confidence riding and so turned to driving because I just cannot live without horses. I began to look for my lovely hairy cob and came across a rescue site.
1 week later and I have a Selle mare and foal, absolutely stunning but not all what I was looking for at the time.
She is very nervous although is slowly coming round and makes me feel very proud of her every day. So for their benefit I want to learn all I can about IH to help her to regain the trust that has been so obviously abused. Missy is 7 and Tyler is 5 weeks old and very bold and brave, helps his mum out a lot.
Apart from that I have a rescue greyhound and 6 kids, two are step children and one is a foster daughter.
I live in a cottage with hubby kids and dog and the horses are kept in the field behind with a shelter. Hoping to get my round pen next week and Suzanne marshall helping me very soon, as Missy has some headcollar wounds that need a bit of time.
My first step, to be able to get the headcollar on and off.
Wish me luck peeps.
Hi to all.
Lisa

Hello Lisa and welcome Sounds like you have your hands full with family & animals! What a great thing to do. They're obviously in a loving home now. Piccies please - it's a must Given time, I'm sure you'll get back in the saddle, especially with help of the IH methods, RA's, the Perfect Confidence part of the DG where you'll get oodles of cyber support etc. Do you plan on doing any IH courses? Fab experience and great meeting so many like-minded folk. Enjoy your horse and foal. Oh and pics of dog too Cath xx
